I write, mostly poems, occasionally short stories. I never follow the rules when doing either of these things; It drains my creativity and turns my work into crap. I draw with pencils. It is about the only visual medium I have any skill with, and I like to think I have improved greatly over the years. I generally only draw people, specifically women because I feel they are easier to form. I'm a high school senior, planning on going to community college for a year and transferring to New York University to get a degree in Psychology. I am in color guard and winter guard; spinning 5 1/2 foot poles with flags on them is one of my great passions in life. I am also the backstage manager of my school's Drama club. I love the performing arts, and would love to get more involved in them. I also am very passionate about music, and unfortunately have never learned to play an instrument other than my voice. I listen to all types of music, and have too many favorite musicians to name, but a few of them are Blue October, The New Pornographers, Peter Gabriel, Mr. Gnome, The Smiths, and Tears for Fears. One of the most important aspects of my life is my friends; they made me who I am and give me a reason to continue being that person. I have a lot of them, and I love every one of them, but I am always looking to make new ones :)
